Drevitalize 2 42 Portable

May 9th 2018, 6:12 PM 4,842 Views 2 Comments. Share24 Tweet Email. The42 is on Instagram! Tap the button below on your phone.

But I don't believe. The weak sectors repair is a new piece of code I never seen before. I have just de-slowed 4 hd. Are you sure you have really try to use this program?

To test result, i have used Victoria for Windows 4.3 then comparing the log of the slow sectors before and after drevitalize. After using Drevitalize with retry 10 and ms: 80, I get NO MORE slow sector on my hd. If this is a hd-killing application, I may assure that at least 4 hd were in fact full re-vitalized, and NOT killed. BTW I have still 12 very old hd to try.

I'll let you know!! But I don't believe.

This can happen if you simple re-write all the sectors, no wonder or magic.

Some hdd can survive this, some not. Dan, I remember, you had created some sort of bad/slow sectors marking utility. Though, I never checked that, but I believe, it kinda was usefull and working. So, why bother to go for such craps? Well, I may sound like biased.so, a test for you. The rest of the 12 drives you have, pick a couple of them, run a Full ZEROFILL (If want to test it in a geek way, you can also run a full verify-write-verify).then see the drive's status.

After that, run the Drevital.let it do it's work.and compare the results (If there are any). Drevitalize

Have i to use a LLF like f.e. 'HDD LLF Low Level Format Tool 2.36' If this is what you mean, I may tell you that on all my defective HD I have try it before, but the slow sector were never revitalized. For that reason, till now I use my 'makebad' utility to change the slow sectors in UNC, but 'Drevitalize 2.30' DOES WORKS!!! Or maybe you were not speaking about HDD LLF Low Level Format Tool 2.36?

Drevitalize 2 42 portable heater

Thanks for help!! In other word I have to expect that the just de-weaked sector in the next time will revert to weak. I'll keeep an eye on the log files, see you later in 2-3 weeks. BTW I am speaking about hd very old and with not important data: hd were the g-list is just full, and also I speak under the perspective of an user who may NOT buy a pci3000 to repair hd.

Free download plagiarism detector. I have also try to use an other utility: 'repartition bad drive', but it create on an hd 37 (yeah!! 37!!) partition. Thanks to all for the help.

It's a program, based upong stealing the source code from HDD Regenerator. I will ask you one question HardDiskBug. Otveti na testi seagull video. What proof do you have that DRevitalize is based upon stealing the source code from HDD Regenerator?

Becasue the fact that something also repairs (in some cases relocates) bad sectors by writing/reading some patterns to the disk surface is no proof at all. What more, a detailed explanation on how HDD Regenerator works can even be read at (you can translate the page via google translator if you don't know Russian). Writing/reading patterns like 00s, FFs or others to the disk surface can not be protected by any patent and as such the author of HDD regenerator has to live with the fact that other applications doing the same job will be written. It's just a question of time and a few experiments to come up with an effective rewrite/or relocate bad sector loop algorithm.

This is not some super code or extra manufacturer commands! Besides there is no way two programs that differ so much in functionality can have identical code. DRevitalize documentation is correct and points out all the truth about revitalizing drive surface without hiding the fact that in some cases it will relocate bad sectors. On a side note I'm pretty sure that if I have enough time (DRevitalize is and has always been a hobby project), the next release of the program (2.40) with it's possibilities will leave HDD Regenerator far behind. I wasn't registered on this forum (because it is basically limited to PC3K and Salvation data products use) but your false statement actually forced me to do so. I've explained and pointed out everything clearly and consider the issue closed so I will not answer to more posts.
